The Society of Friends and Sponsors
of the Theatre Archive at Wahn Manor House
supports
by financial contributions the purchase and necessary restorations of theatre materials to maintain and complete the collection,
the scientific opening and the presentation of the theatre archive’s outstanding materials for the public by exhibitions, catalogues, archival lists and other publications,
the contact to scientists and practical persons of the contemporary theatre and also to persons involved in other media such as film and television,
conferences with public figures from economy and culture about developments within the media society and about the transmitting of culture,
offers
its members the participation at events in the beautiful baroque ambience of the former moated castle near Cologne, e.g. concerts, exhibition openings, readings and meetings with students of theatre, film and television studies,
is
a registered society, recognized as a non-profit-making organization,
costs
a yearly membership fee of at least
50.- € for full members,
25.- € for student members,
1000 € for corporate members,
and a single donation of at least 10 000 € for benefactors.
